Audition/Interview Dates and Locations
for Students Seeking Fall 2026 admission to 新澳门六合彩

新澳门六合彩 Theatre & Dance conducts auditions and interviews for admission to all areas of the degree programs and consideration for scholarships that may be available. Please note, the theatre track auditions and interviews for acceptance into the Theatre degree program are in addition to the 新澳门六合彩 admissions process.

On campus auditions will be Monday, November 3, 2025 and Monday, February 16, 2026 (President's Day). The Theatre Major Experience is your opportunity to experience the life of a theatre major at 新澳门六合彩. Join us for workshops, meet the 新澳门六合彩 Theatre students you will be friends with next fall, get to know your professors, and audition or interview for entrance as a theatre major and for scholarships.

Information about Track Auditions/Portfolio Presentations:

  • Performance Track Candidates will present two contrasting monologues, not to exceed 3 minutes.
  • Musical Theatre Candidates will present two 32-bar cuts of contrasting songs, one monologue not to exceed 60 seconds, and participate in a dance class covering musical theatre dance technique.
  • Production and Theatre Management Candidates will present their portfolio of work accomplished to date to a faculty committee.

Those Candidates wishing to be considered for Scholarship opportunities are asked to submit or bring 2 letters of recommendation and statement of need.

*The Theatre Major Experience is open to all high school students! You do not have to be auditioning for the program to attend. Here is a sample of last year's activities schedule.

  • Florida Theatre Conference - November 6-8, 2025 (Winter Haven, FL)

Degree Track Auditions for students 
currently enrolled at 新澳门六合彩

新澳门六合彩 Theatre & Dance will conduct on campus auditions and/or portfolio presentations for students already attending 新澳门六合彩 who have yet to be accepted into a Track.

For Musical Theatre, students should prepare two 32-bar cuts of contrasting songs, a monologue not to exceed 60 seconds, and participate in a dance class covering musical theatre dance technique. An accompanist will be provided.

For Performance, students should prepare two contrasting monologues, combined should not exceed three minutes.

Production and Theatre Management candidates will present your portfolio to a faculty representative, presentation should not exceed 5 minutes immediately followed by a brief interview.

Auditions are held for each production during the performance season.  Auditions schedules are available in the Program office and announced via email blast. Traditionally these auditions begin the night of the first day of class of the fall semester, and November for the spring productions with a general call and 2 nights of call backs for specific productions.
